Primary Colors of light
The visible light spectrum is made up of all of the colors of the rainbow, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and violet. Because we can only see certain colors, these certain colors make up primary colors of light. The most common primary color trio of light is red, blue and, green. These three colors are called primary colors of light because they add up to white light.
In this diagram, it shows all of the primary and secondary colors of light. When you add two of the primary colors of light, for example blue and green add up to make cyan, it makes a secondary color of light.
