The Light Spectrum
The light spectrum is very important to the ocean color. Light spectrums is a part of the electromagnetic radiation spectrum that can be seen by the human eye (Jones). The different colors we can see through the naked eye are, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and violet ("Why is the Ocean Blue?").
